Scott has worked in the Finance industry for over 15 years, and for Harvard University since 2009. Scott has served in his current role as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis of Harvard Law School since 2014, responsible for all aspects of the School’s budget, which includes 500 employees and 2,000 students. Prior to that, Scott worked at Harvard Kennedy School, advising the School’s research centers on proper budgeting techniques for all types of funding, including grants and endowments, and coordinated long-term budgets (5-10 years) for strategic planning purposes. Before Harvard, Scott worked for Capital One, responsible for total cost management for a $40M business line for the corporation. Previous roles have included stints as a Client Relationship Manager and Project Manager, both of which provided experiences which remain essential to this day. Scott grew up in the Boston area and continues to reside there, with his wife and two small children. They all are ardent followers of all the Boston sports teams!
